Classes;
The Scottish country dance 'season' runs in line with the academic calendar; from September to the following May. There is then usually a summer break before dance classes and events begin again. Dependent on the individuals involved, there may be social dances over the summer months, but these are not a given. Please see our calendar page for more information and full details of dance events run by the society.

Location and directions
Weekly lessons are held at:
The Zion United Reformed Church Hall
178 High Street
Northallerton
North Yorkshire
DL7 8JZ
The hall can be a little hard to find your first time as it is set back from the high street. The entrance is located at the south end of the High Street opposite 'The Works' and 'Coral' - there is a painted hanging wooden sign, but it is small and can be hard to see at night. From the high street, you go through a wide arch (with murals on the wall) and come out on a cobbled/ stone courtyard. Ahead of you is the main church. The path continues slightly left along the long side of the main church. At the end of this, slightly behind the church, is the hall where classes are held.
Parking: At this time of night parking on the high street outside the church entrance is not a problem (and free).
Alternatives: There are a couple of bike racks outside the main church. Additionally Northallerton Rail Station is only half a mile down the road.
